Yet Another Abusive Man Slips Pregnant Girlfriend Abortion Pills without Consent

In Japan, an investigation is underway after 21-year-old Jin Mimae allegedly snuck his 18-year-old girlfriend two separate doses of Mifepristone, the first of the two-drug chemical abortion regimen. This drug kills the preborn child by blocking progesterone, a necessary pregnancy hormone. The child’s mother was about 5 weeks along and, unsurprisingly, became sick after being unknowingly drugged. The abortion attempt succeeded in October 2020. Pro-Life Students Are Gearing Up For An Active Summer

Pro-life and not sure what to do this summer? We have good news! For the first time ever, Students for Life of America will be offering special Leadership Retreats as an opportunity for pro-life students to grow in their skills as young leaders. These regional events are specially tailored the meet the specific needs of the students in that area.

There are two awesome mission trips planned for the Eastern end of the country. If you live around Philadelphia or Washington, D.C. – you’re in luck!

Please note that SFLA Mission Trips are for students 18+, but younger high schoolers are welcome to RSVP for specific events. See links below!

Capital Area (VA, DC, MD)

Dates: August 3-10, 2019

Itinerary: Travel around the greater DC area and join us for a week of intensive pro-life training, door-knocking throughout Maryland and Virginia, activism at the Howard County Fair, exclusive DC insider experiences, and more! You will get to hear from experts in the pro-life movement, network with other Capital Area pro-life students, and have hands-on experiences with pro-life activism all throughout one of the most influential regions in the nation.

Dates: June 23-30, 2019

Itinerary: We will begin our mission trip in Philadelphia, with intensive training from pro-life experts, a visit to Gosnell’s facility, and participation in a prayer chain outside the Philadelphia Planned Parenthood. Starting Wednesday, we will travel to Agape Farm in Mount Union, PA to work the SFLA Booth at Creation Fest 2019, one of the largest Christian music festivals in PA! We will put our skills to work at the booth and throughout the festival by initiating conversations, recruiting strong pro-life leaders, and inspiring passive pro-lifers to action. Campfires, concerts, food, and fun included!
