On Saturday, March 30th, we will welcome our newest young adult chapter, Indianapolis Pro-Life Future! All pro-life young professionals are welcome to join the new chapter in seeing Unplanned and then going to eat afterward to hear more about the vision for Indianapolis Pro-Life Future. This chapter will aim to build a community of pro-life young professionals, oriented towards action and change in Indianapolis. They plan to have a presence outside of abortion facilities, lobby for pro-life legislation and more! Chapter founder and president, Nora Alcala, shares why she decided to get involved with Pro-Life Future:
“When first began school at Ball State University I joined the Students for Life group. Flash forward 4 years later, I’m so grateful for my investment into the Pro-Life generation through our SFLA chapter at Ball State. I served as President for Students for Life at Ball State for 2 years, kickstarted our Pregnant on Campus Initiative, Facilitated a Pregnant and Parenting Support Group, created a pregnant and parenting Resource Guide tailored to the Ball State Community, met with many administrators to discuss Title XI Rights, held an Administrative Round Table to brainstorm ideas on how best to serve our student parents, helped a young women choose life and much more. SFLA has done so much for my growth as a leader, activist and women. I’m excited to start this new journey as the leader of the Pro-Life Future Chapter in Indianapolis, Indiana.”
